Magnetic resonance imaging (Belarus, Minsk)

Magnetic resonance imaging

Magnetic resonance imaging is one of the most accurate, fastest and most informative methods for medical diagnosis of diseases of the brain and spinal cord, spine, joints, abdominal organs and pelvis.

The difference between the MRI method and the others is that the patient’s body is not exposed to x-ray radiation, as it does not carry any radiation exposure.

MRI studies in our Center are performed on high-field devices Magnetom Avanto (SIEMENS) and INTERA (PHILIPS).

Using special exclusive equipment for the study of the shoulder, knee, ankle joints allows you to identify changes in the early stages. The tomograms obtained on such equipment are not inferior in quality to the images of ultrahigh-field tomographs.

Comprehensive diagnostic protocols for in-depth examination using magnetic resonance imaging have been developed and implemented:

  • “Early diagnosis of ischemic brain damage”;
  • "Chronic headaches";
  • "Cervicobrachial syndrome";
  • "Chronic back pain";
  • "Tоtall spine."

Of course, high-quality equipment is an important element in successful diagnostics, but the most important link is always the medical staff working on this equipment and conducting research. Examination of patients in our Center is carried out by experienced highly qualified specialists.

Preliminary registration for a paid study (CT, MRI) is carried out by phone +375-17-311-10-90. Consultation will allow you to choose the right method and the optimal diagnostic test protocol, as well as perform the examination purposefully and in full.

Restrictions on MRI diagnostics:

  • Body weight more than 100 kg;
  • The patient has an artificial pacemaker (pacemaker);
  • The patient’s presence of magnetic metal structures after operations, metal foreign bodies, fragments;
  • Fear of confined space (claustrophobia);
  • Children under the age of 5 years.
